It seems that someone has started a campaign for Nimar housings on the internet. Quickly googling resulted on hits on several boards where all of a sudden new members ask questions or (mostly) recommend Nimar housings.

The situation is the same on UWP chat also, several posts in the last days about Nimar. Posts are almost identical to thiose on other locations: "dropped a couple of times, never problems, Pipin and jaadidaa..."

I think there are some possible explanations:

1) someone working for Nimar is trying to get name for their product. Poor judgement, as this kind of campaign could easily turn against Nimar because of negative reactions to spam posts. (at leat my first reaction was that I will never even consider them now)

2) Some dealer for Nimar is trying to boost the sales of Nimar housings. Again poor judgement, same as above.

3) Someone is trying to get bad publicity for Nimar. A bit more clever, and this option should not be discarded straight away. The same mechanism as above, but this time the negative reaction is the desired one.

I think the whole thing should be prettymuch ignored, no replies to posts and moderators can remove those from real threads and block the spammers profiles.

Any additional Nimar spam posts could be submitted to this thread (please).

I have been systematically deleting all Nimar spam. I have not yet banned anyone, but that will come if it keeps happening. Hopefully Mark and Clay (moderators) will keep on that while I am gone in the Maldives.
