Here is Freshwater Polyp - Pelmatohydra Oligactis (http://www.marinespecies.org/hydrozoa/aphia.php?p=taxdetails&id=292197).

It is only fife millimeter long. It have long tendrils which it is catching prey by tranquilizing it. Little polyp on the side of the bigger itīs baby polyp which is developing inside of adult polyp. After baby is old enough, it pop out from the side of adult polyp.

Pelmatohydra oligactis can attach himself for snail example.
