Very nice. And by they way, you reminded me. This one is open to vertical or horizontal images. If a vertical wins, we will just make it smaller on the opening page.

Hi everyone, I'm new here. Went to La Paz, Mexico in October to go diving in the wonderful Sea of Cortez. Here's a shot of two gossipy balloonfish. Taken with my Olympus C5050 and Ike DS-125 strobe. Uncropped.

Susan, welcome and thanks for the post!
Mark, isn't it true that you Brits have cuttlefish in the cold waters of the Atlantic in the UK? I want to import them to New England! ;)
Jonathan
Very sharp picture Susan! I found the number of fish in the Sea of Cortez amazing!
Good to see you!

Jonathan.
Yes we have cuttlefish in the UK. None in the US then? I find them absolutely fascinating. Would love to meet up with the flambouyant cuttlefish or even the 1.5m Australian giant cuttlefish.
Place your order then, how many would you like.

I have never seen the Australian giant one, but I have seen flamboyant cuttles and MAN they are cool!
No, we have no cuttlefish on this side of the Atlantic. Not sure why. Maybe they can't get here....gulf stream is going the wrong way. The whole concept of cold water cuttlefish seems weird! Send a few over here.....we need a COOL invasive! ;)

Hi, all. I'm new to the forum as well as underwater photography, but I'd like to throw one in for consideration. I'd appreciate any and all criticisms.
Can we submit more than one photo?

I had to submit this one because I have a developed a particular fascination with nudibranchs. This little guy was hanging out on The Odyssey, a wreck in Roatan, which is the first place I've seen nudibranchs. I believe it is a Spotted Sea Goddess.

Thanks Clay.
Its a goby, about 1/2 of an inch long.
It was taken on my first proper go with manual settings.
I spent about 15 mins in 1 patch of sand messing with settings, when it landed straight in front of the lens:)
camera is the 20D 100mmUSM macro 1 X DS 125 strobe
