Wow, you've got some really nice photos there. I can't comment much from a technical standpoint since I'm a novice, but from just a typical viewer's standpoint, they're beautiful. I especially loved the nudibranchs because I have an affinity for the little creatures. I've only seen a handful just recently while in Roatan (Purple-Crowned Sea Goddess and Black Spotted Sea Goddess among them) and ever since have developed quite a fascination with them. Where were most of these shot?
I'll attempt to attach one of my nudibranch pics from Roatan.
Nice website with some really great shots!

Thanks for the kind words, Debbie!
Nudis and other macro critters are really amazing! They are shot mainly around Malaysia & Indonesia.
You've got a nice one there, I haven't seen that one! :(
Thanks for sharing!
Dave - Thanks for the compliment! ;)

Hi Ed
I just feel that your gallery is one of the best I have ever seen! Don't leave your activity with this chat to 2 posts. It's also amazing that you have used only point&shoot cameras.

both the presentation and the images. I especially like the mechanics of the portfolio of thumbnails that when roll the mouse across an image, it takes you to a larger image.
Please keep us updated on your work!

Very many picture galleries are rather pooring in technics. So your wife should think to make business with these pages. I might be the first customer.
Of course good pictures are needed also.

Ed your shots are fantastic! You have real eye, and I love the way you've composed your images! Wow, I never thought it would be possible to get such good images of a pygmy seahorse with a point and shoot. Good going! :D
What kind of strobe(s) are you using? Do you ever have any problems from moisture droplets collecting inside the housing with the point and shoot?
I have a Canon housing for my Powershot A95 and when the LCD heats up, I get moisture on the inside of the housing. I was wondering if you've ever experienced the same thing.

Robyn,
If aren't already using silica gel packs, you should. They will help in absorbing any moisture in your housing.
Cheers!

Thanks Daniel...I've bought some gel packs but I haven't tried them yet. Now that I have the 5D, I'll mostly be using that,,,but every once in a while, I think it will be nice to take the PowerShot into the water just for fun.
Ed's pictures certainly testify to the fact that you can get some amazing shots with it! :) Robyn

Hi Robyn! Thanks for the kind words. :)
I use the Inon D2000 and Z240. As for the moisture droplets, I used to have them. Try putting a panty liner or ladies napkin (the slim type) in the housing (space in between the camera & housing, but avoid blocking any button, screen or o-ring). I haven't had any problem since putting "it".
What Daniel suggested is good, but the silica gel only works for a while and the pack is normally quite bulky. Moreover, panty liner or ladies napkin can absorb water better, if there is a small leak. ;)
I hope the info help!
Once again, thanks for the wonderful comment. :D
