Hi everyone

I am looking forward to my live-aboard trip to Truk in April 07. I am planning on bringing my Nikonos V with the nikkor 15mm lens and 2 strobes. I have been using my 2 DS-125 with this set-up in the Great Lakes and love it. So my question is for those who have been to Truk - do you think 2 DS-125 strobes will be sufficient or should I be looking at two DS-200?. My interest in wreck photography tends to be CFWA.

Thanks

Luigi

Keeping in mind that the DS200 is less than a stop more powerful, you don't gain a heck of a lot with the DS200 over the 125. Sometimes that little extra makes a difference. But shooting wide angle with a Nikonos 15, you have so much depth of field and that is shuch a sharp lens, that just opening up a stop is usually fine, unless the sun is in the shot and you need the strobe to compete with it. I think the DS125s are going to be fine for you.
