I thought I would start a poll here just to see where people stand on this issue. After you vote in the poll, you can add some comments to justify your position!
And cheaper too.
BTW: A GWS took a Newly-Wed Husband up at Byron Bay NSW a few years back. He very bravely placed himself between the GWS and his diving partner wife who survived the ordeal. Some guy eh!

Greatly disliked Guadalupe but I haven't been anywhere else so I'm not voting. Reasons for not liking Guadalupe:
- Very long ride there from Cali.
- Mudslide from river outlet shot all vis. No other site to relocate to with better conditions so we were stuck. So its an even bigger crap shoot then your standard trip it seems.
- Unfriendly boat crew (obviously the most subjective part).
-I haven't been Great Whiting anywhere else yet but I'd like once I'm out of college.
What are some of the other locations like? Do they only have one prime shooting site also or are there several coves/bays/islands/whatevers?

Loved Guadalupe... because of the 90 foot viz. This was on the Horizon out of San Diego with San Diego Shark Diving. (Hope the plug is ok.) Granted the trip is long, but I love boats, so a 22 hour cruise was ok with me. Bit bumpy on the way back. Crew was quite good. Sharks were cooperative. :) Doc knew where to put the boat so we didn't get the run-off referred to in an earlier post. Even with the viz, those big guys are sneaky - keep your arms and legs in the cage!
