Man, those lionfish are really taking off in population, huh?

Yeah. I made my first visit there this spring. We found lionfish almost every time we went near the bottom (120') on the Papoose. Apparently, the Gulf Stream keeps them warm enough year round at depth, and they've multiplied exponentially since the year 2000. It was rather shocking to see so many when we weren't looking for them, and they've become quite a concern. It seems clear that they're there to stay. I took one close focus photo with a Nik/15mm and posted it to http://claycoleman.tripod.com/id33.htm -Clay

Hey! #3 is new, and it's my clear favorite. I love these sort of ambiguous images. I love the mirror-like quality to the "pool" in the center. Please tell me more about the sea life shown.

My only comment is that it feels a bit pinched in the frame. Is that full frame, or has it been cropped? If there's more information available, does it distract from what's inside the frame lines now??
