Looks like a nice little offering. I was impressed with the shutter release lag time of ~0.08 of a second from half press (already focused) to full press. Wideangle is 36mm, which is "fair." The only thing that really disappointed me was that Canon did not include the ability to record in RAW format. Otherwise, for $450 USD, it looks like a nice little camera.
Ikelite manufactures housings for Canon's S2 and S3 models. I expect Ikelite will have a housing for the S5 fairly soon. ;)
