Digital Compact & Raw

Hi Guys,

Am thinking of updating my camera, my skills, experience and bank account would not allow a DSLR like the cannon 5D or similar. I would like to get a good digital compact that will shoot in Raw, allows the use of external stropes and will allow a wide angle lens to be fitted.

Any suggestions would be very helpful, many thanks

I was using long time Olympus 5060 Wide Zoom under water.

There was a moment, when it looked like Olympus is jumping out of these kind of cameras ( they quited 5060, 7070 and 8080 )

Now they are back to this area with next one...fullfilling the needs you described...have a look

Thats also good choise!

Only thing you can physically see is that the lens diameter is douple in Olympus and that have some influence anyhow when taking wide pics!
