I am thinking of booking a trip with the Hydrus (http://www.teamhydrus.com/) people in Seattle to dive with Sixgills next fall. Marty Snyderman and Howard Hall were up there with them last year and got some amazing stuff. Marty heartily recommended them. Anyone interested? They get $2,300.00 per person for a 4 day/3 night expedition with only 6 divers on the boat. It's a little pricey, but you only have 5 other divers to contend with, and they only let 3 in the water at a time. Seems like some good photo-ops and probably the only operation in the world that is reliably putting people in the water with sixgills. I'm looking at September 6-9, 2008.

Well Jonathan

I have been out of work for the last 4 months and we are putting an extension on the house with our life savings.
Plus, I now have a little bit of work to do as well.

So this year fitting diving in and doing the extension maybe hard to mix.

Last weekend was a lovely weekend with a flat sea for this time of year. I personally think the Baskers are here all season, but you need a nice flat sea to spot them. As I said in one of my PMs to you, they tagged 104 in one weekend last year.

I hope to get out and will be in touch with my skipper as to when things are good.

If you can get a cheap flight at short notice you're more than welcome to come.
Once you're here it isn't hard to sort you out with a bit of dive kit and a few air fills.

Saying all that, it won't be 5* but you sometimes have to suffer for your passion :D

The funny thing is people come from all over the world to dive our deep ship wrecks, and you want Six gills ;) (see what I did there)

Hope you're reading this Pasi :D

I will keep you up to date JB, & if you can make it all the better!

Thanks, Ken
