I think that blennies are fascinating and so amusing to watch! They steal my attention whenever I spot them.
Here are 3 of my favorite shots...
http://www.myfavoritesea-nery.com/gallery/albums/album10/diamnd_blenny_3_tif_5x7.sized.jpg
I took this close-up shot of a Diamond Blenny that was concealed underneath an anemone when I was at Little Cayman.

Here's a shot of a Bluethroat Pikeblenny cautiously peeking out from his hole at Phil Foster Park in West Palm Beach, FL.

This tight shot of a Seaweed Blenny was also taken at Phil Foster Park in West Palm Beach, FL.
Thanks for looking. I'd love to see some of your favorite blenny shots too!

Well live and learn! I didn't know wolf eels were blennies! I had to look around for blennies that I haven't already posted on other threads. Here's a seaweed out of its hole on the wreck, Pete Tide II near Pensacola, FL:

Your 'trash can blenny' is so cute! We have lots of 'pop bottle blennies' where I dive in WPB, but I've yet to see a trash can blenny! ;)
Your PNG blennies are nice... and so unusual! Thanks for posting these.

These are such cool critters. There are so many types and varieties. It's easy to see why people can be fascinated by them. Really shows the benefits of diving nice and slow and just admiring the scenery. I think too many people are in a rush to get somewhere and miss all the cool stuff that is passing beneath them in their hurry to get who knows where.
