I would like to see a little less dead space at the top of the frame. You could crop it a tad to help fix that. I like the complimentary colors of the crab and the sponges. This is a nice colorful shot that "pops."

One suggestion, when starting a thread, try to create a more descriptive title for the thread. There are getting to be a lot of threads in this section with similar titles "check this one out".

You might try something like:
"Crab macro shot for critique"

Just a suggestion. A "catchier" title also gets more people curious enough to look.

Ahh, a nice batwing crab. I agree with Jonathan that a little less dead space on the top would help, but I like the fact that you got an "expression" from the face. Those eyes are nice and sharp. It's a nice photo of an interesting subject. Did you stay with it and shoot from other angles? -Clay
