Sunday was a great day to get out and ice-dive. The sun was shining, great friends, and fun had by all. We got to try out our new (to us) D200 set up.

Here's one from January....we never did make it out of the harbour to open water, but we had a blast trying::D

An oxymoron if I've ever heard one! Man, it's in the 50s here and I'm bummed about it. -Clay

Beautiful pictures!:D
It seems just like here in Finland. Now we in midle of Finland about 50 centimeter snow and as much ice on the lakes. Spring and summer is coming very quickly because after two month lakes are open again.:)
You have propaply same thing there in Canada?
There is some ice diving pictures also in my site www.pasilensu.com . We where diving under ice about three weeks ago.

Thanks! and you have nice pics, as well! Thanks for the link. Ice diving is always an adventure! :D We've been out quite a few times this year, and could STILL go this weekend as there is still ice a little North of us (less than 1 hour).
We had to dig our way out from under a pretty bad storm a few weeks ago, (Toronto, Ontario) and the sun still has a lot of work to do to melt the rest of the snow:
