I use a Light and Motion housing on my D100. Shooting with the 12-24mm lens and a plus 2 diopter in conjunction with an extension ring on the dome port yeilds terrific results. Corner to corner sharpness is very good. If you let me know how to post pictures, I'll upload a few.

Jim,
If you scroll down in the reply window, you will see a button called "manage attachments". CLick it, select a pic from your HD and send. Easy! Limits are 100K maximum file size and 640 pixels on the long side of the image. This is to keep the database from overflowing!

What is the diameter of the Dome? I use the 12-24 without a diopter behind a 8" dome with a 1/2 inch extension ring ( aquatica ).

Chris,
I think you will find that the diopter increases the corner sharpness SIGNIFICANLTY. Read the new posts in my D200/Dome port thread.

I may give that a try. Where did you get a 77mm +2? Hopefully a company that will ship to Guam;-)
Cheers

Normally you will have no problem getting something like that from B&H or Adorama in NY and yes, they ship to Guam! As it turns out, since I NEED one right now, they are both out of stock on the 77 mm! D'oh!
I'm betting Fred (Underwater Photo Tech) also has them. Yo hoo...Fred....
I highly recommend that you use the best filter you can get, which I believe is B+W (made in Germany) with possibly Hoya (Japan) being the second best.
