Jellies are taking over the Oceans due to less and less predators to control them. So unless your land locked lets see your Jellies.

Moon jelly from Belize

This tiny filefish was living inside this jelly in Borneo.

I got chased out of the water by these box jellies in Bonaire. We were diving under the house dock at night. I tipped my camera up and the focus light caught a box swimming in the light column. I left the water quickly and then dangled a light off the dock. I drew in 11 box jellies!!! It could have been such a diving disaster! Needless to say, this photo was taken hanging off the dock.

Great pics. I especially like the pic of the filefish Allison, its great having the two pictures to show how small it is... it must have been miniscule! The fish against the different textures of the jelly is a really unusual.

Thanks. The water was unusually warm (58) due to a change in the currents apparently because of a lot of rain in July. Water should be about 40 this time of the year. The local divers and fishermen said they had never ever seen such warm water.

Yes, St. Lawrence in Canada. Not the Empress...we were searching for Greenland sharks. Instead there were jellies everywhere. One of them had tentacles over 10 feet long. One of the guys on our boat got the crap stung out of him!
