Here are some shots I took during a recent trip aboard Blackbeard's.
The settings were the same for each of these shots.

Mark: I believe I did a better job getting the eye in focus this time around on the Sharknose Goby.

Thanks Clay, my camera is a Nikon D80. For the first three shots I was using a Nikon 105mm Macro lens.
The photo of the reef shark was taken using a Nikon 12-24 Wide Angle lens; the actual f/stop was f/9.0
Cheers!

Daniel, that Goldentail Eel makes me wanna go get a 105mm now... :D
Here's a couple from the same trip with my 60mm. It's my first crack at macro, and I have to say I really enjoyed it, inspite of losing the use of one of my strobes from the beginning of the trip. Our dual sync cord decided to stop working too, but thank GAWD Warren brought a spare that we could use!

Nice collection of photo's Kelly. Like you, I enjoy macro photography.
We could save ourselves a few $$$, we can borrow each others lens & port. We just have to travel to the same destination. LOL
Cheers!
