Seastar is having lunch.

I was suprissed when I found this seastar having lunch.I didn´t gnow that those can be so flexible. Does anyone have experinces of same kind of situations?

Hi Sharp,

To be honest, I don't know. It would appear to me this particular SeaStar is simply stretching. From what I've read in the past, I believe they have two stomachs and have the ability to extend one of their stomachs out through its mouth. I would think being bottom dwellers, they would eat whatever lies on the sea floor.

Perhaps someone else can share their knowledge.
