Hi Everyone,
This is a reminder that the Oceanic Research Group "Celebrate the Sea (http://www.oceanicresearch.org/scholarship/benefit/benefit.htm)" Film Festival and Fundraiser will be held on November 2, 2008 at the National Heritage Museum in Lexington, MA at 1 PM.
I will present An Indonesian Odyssea, a slide presentation about Lembeh Straits, Indonesia. I will also premiere a brand new HD episode of Jonathan Bird's Blue World--the first segment from season 2.
The ORG scholarship winner will be present to accept her award.
As usual, we will have many exciting auctions and raffle items, including a dive in the Giant Ocean Tank at the New England Aquarium (very hard to get!) and a Wyland dolphin print, as well as signed prints of mine.
The theatre only seats 375...so don't be late. Tickets are $10 (adults) and $5 (under 12).
Oceanic Research Group, Inc (http://www.oceanicresearch.org). is a 501(c)3 non-profit environmental organization dedicated to the conservation of the world's oceans through education.
Hope to see you there!
Jonathan
