I just made made latest underwatervideo: Exploration Under Ice 2 (http://www.pasilensu.com/video/Valkiajarvi_24022009_short_version_3.wmv).

What do you think friends, is music too loud? Can you hear the narration well enough?

Great Pasi!

Do you remember, who insisted you to have narration. It makes the message of video 1000% better. Also your editing skills have developed a lot...that's gives me final pleasure for pressing you to have narration.

I feel narration and music was in good balance.

Thank you Jukka. Yes, it was you how insisted to do narration. :) This narration was my second time and it was much easier than first one. I have noticed that I have to first write the narration to paper, so it is much more easier to speak after that.

Now I have noticed also that eather I have to sometimes take longer shoots to the video or I dont have to speak so much to the video.

Excellent job. Good editing. For me the music is a little bit too loud behind the narrator. But I liked the sequence very much. Very instructive.

Thank you Pierre. Yes it was purpose to be instructive.

Next saturday we are going to do wreckdiving under ice and I am going to do new video of that also. There we have to use same techniques as well. I am also using first time my new videolight Salvo 50W HID with videoreflector (http://l.b5z.net/i/u/49176/i/10.120.235-700.jpg). Earlier I have used Darkbuster 24Whid with reflector (http://www.pasilensu.com/kuvagalleriat/Mine%207/slides/sharp_is_shooting_uw_video2.jpg).

Very cool to watch and your editing is better and better.

One trick with music is to have the level go down a tad under the narration, then in the gaps between narration, have the music pop up a little. This gives continuity to the music, but allows you to hear the narration too.

Your English is way better than my Finnish!

I have wanted to do that also, put the level of music down when the narration start. I think that I can do with my Magix editingprogram (http://www.magix.com/uk/movie-edit-pro/plus/). I still havent find the way how to do it.

Kiitos (Thank you).
