I have been involved to some introduction diving and making pictures and videos during that.

I didn't find any special place for this so I opened the new thread here. I know that Clay have been doing some pool fotographing.

When I went to bublic swimming hall I thought that you can take world best UW-pics there...but what amount of backscatter...now I totally understand why there are singns that please take a shower before entering to to pool...I feel many have skipped those instuctions:D

Making pictures in pool was much more difficult that I expected...power of strobes was normally to high...normal adjustment of camera I have used to, didn't work att all ( Maybe because of amount of sunlight was lower ). This pool I was had metall walls and floor which was reflecting lot of light from the strobes. I tried also natural light, but didn't get really good result.

Very good pictures Jukka.

That pool is very unique and I belive that it is much more difficult enviroment to shoot that normal white swimmingpool. Those reflection looks nice to my eyes.:)

I feel the spring is approaching...as our local diveclup is giving free introduction dive to get new members. To me it was great to get UW affter long period with camera.

Yes, I remember very well my first intro in our pool in my hometown. It was fantastic feeling!:)

That video is very good for people how are interested for intro dive.

Red is alway powerfull colour under water...absolutely great shots!

Hey Jukka, is Spiderman your son? I thought your kids were older! Good way to get them into diving early!

The Bodensteins gave me a XXS Scubapro BC for Elise--it's tiny! I bought a 30 cu ft pony and I need to find a small mouthpiece so I can build her a kid-sized regulator. I will start pool training this summer! (She will be 8). Of course she can't get certified for real until she is 10.

Jonathan they are not mine...just following the parents who had introductions.

Anyhow the kids are the future and what earlier they know secrets of the UW world the better is the future of our seas. Your JBBW is also perfect tool for that!
