Water lilies.

Solisti have already put beautiful pictures of water lilies, but I decided to make the new thread for those beatyes. The flowers of the water lilies are openin in the middle of the Juli. Water lilies have some kind off mysterious effect to me like clown fishes also. I can´t stop watching the beauty of them.

This summer I tryed to capture pictures so that sun stays behind the water lilies leafs. I was very happy of the results.

Thank you solisti. Well, it was one of the best days of the summer. Sun was shining perfectly and water was clear! There is no wonder why I drive to that lake about 80 kilometer instead to dive in Savonlinna in brown water.

Visibility has changed quite a lot in this summer. You can see the big difference with this video (http://www.pasilensu.com/video/Valkiajarvi%20Juli%202009.wmv)and this one (http://www.pasilensu.com/video/Valkiajarvi%20August%202009.wmv). Same place and there is only three week between time when I shoot the videos. Second time there where no sun light and there where a lot of backscratter.

We should deffenitelly do some kind of gathering to the Valkiajärvi lake excample next summer.:)

Maybe Jonathan and the gang also want to come now that they have filmed evrything possible in Galapagos?

Thank you seafan. Those are not also very common in area where I live. And often if I found them, the visibility on the lake is so bad, that I cant get good pics of those.

I just really looked at this thread and am impressed. I never thought of shooting lillies from underneath. I guess around here I have never seen lillies in that clear of water.
