Just have to say that I am one VERY happy man. :D

I couriered my housing to Ikelite earlier this week and a few hours after it arrived there I had a quote back with a promise to replace all the electronics and push buttons from my recent flooding incident and return it to me on Monday! OK not cheap to fix, but what great service, especially as I am off to Mozambique in a few weeks and was wondering what I would take!

Anyway, just wanted to share my pleasure and to congratulate our generous sponsor again on their customer service! :D

Yep. Normally I send it through Cameras Underwater but that just takes time as they put it in with their next shipment, so couriered it off directly (£40) and they are going to courier it straight back.

This is were cameras underwater send there stuff for repair ;) ask for Kevin next time you need anything done, he serviced my housing for me when a clip broke just before our Scapa trip, a great bloke.

And what about your camera, isn't it cream crackered?

I have never heard of them before, otherwise I might have been inclined to send it to them to have a look at. I will keep that in my favourites for future reference. I think the bill is somewhere around $350 + postage... so not cheap!

The camera has gone off to Colchester Canon Repair to have a look at, no idea if they can do anything for it, but they do a free evaluation so lets keep the fingers crossed. If not it looks like a new camera :eek:

Shame it is not in a few months time as I want to change over to a new Canon 7d :cool:
