Congratulation!
I am just looking the amount of gears...add to that DSLR-camera-set with strobes and video set with 3 lights...lenses, ports, chargers, computers and everything times two and travel to end of the world...just my thoughts.
Do you have your own rebreather?

I belive that I will dive with my rebreather only in Finland. With rebreather I have to always have to have under water one bail out stagebottle. If I do very deep and long dive I have to have two bail out stages. When going abroad I will dive with normal open circuit gears of course.
Now Iīm happy that I have compact G9 camera and only one strobe.;)

Well done Sharp.
I don't see any reason not to take your rebreather away on holiday with you,
A lot of places are well geared up for CCR diving now, ok so it's bit more excess baggage but not that much more than OC
Take it easy with your new toy, and don't run before you can walk ;)

Congratulations Sharp and nice video. I have always wanted to give it a try but none of my dive buddies have the inclination to learn or use one which would take the fun out of diving. It does seem a lot of kit once you add on the bail out tanks, video or DSLR and the drysuit!

Thank you Ken.
Today I started for planning diving trip to Norway for next summer. I will definitelly take my CCR there. It is easy take lot of gears for that trip, because we are going the with car. But you are right, CCR docent take much bigger place than OC gears.
Yes, I will practice little by little diving with CCR. Lots of shallow dives. I have notice that most challenging for my is to learn to get good boyancy with that thing.

Thank you Andrew.
I had also wanted to try CCR for quite a long time, but now I have three my good diving buddys in my home town, how have they own CCR also. Now we have good change to take benefit of CCR and get more longer dives either shallow or deep waters. Especially now we can do deep dives much cheaper than OC, good trimix mixture.
I have used to carry many decotanks with my with OC, so that is not problem. New thing is, that now I have to look oxygen partial preassure very often from my handsets, what I didnīt had to do with OC.
Andrew and Ken, is there a lot of CCR divers in UK and Ireland? Itīs not very common in Finland yet, but it is getting more and more popular especially among divers how like to do technical, wreck and cave diving.

My best M8 has a sentenial, and I dive with buddys who have a Evo, insp and a kiss.
I have done about 90% of the dives with my friend on his sentenial, and have we had some fun at times
Yes keep a eye on your PP at all times and don't push your scrubber ;)
Are you going to get a BOV, most of our lads rave about them?

To tell the truth I don't trust myself with one, I am not methodical enought :o
I have had a go on the sentenial in 2m of water, and I will have a go on a inspo when I go back to Tenerife in Feb, as the bloke I dive with in Tenerife is an Instructor.
IMHO I think that OC is nearly as good for the 30m-45m diving that I do.
If I carry 2 stage bottles with say 50% and 80%-100% with 28% backgas a CCR is not that much of a advantage.
Its when you go to helium that a CCR realy pays off, about Ģ8 to fill your dill bottle compared to about Ģ60 OC
Saying that when we went to Scapa I dived Air & 50%, and clocked up 30-35mins deco, my M8 never broke 8mins, until all 3 cells went, but thats another story
