There is two pictures of Mola mola which was found in December from the beach of Lerberget in Sweden (http://maps.google.fi/maps?hl=fi&source=hp&q=lerberget&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wl).

I wounder how it was got to so cold water? Have you ever heard that Mola mola has done sometimes before same kind of thing?

There is first (http://www.dykarna.nu/photos/2009/1270520091220194757.jpg)picture and there is another (http://www.dykarna.nu/photos/2009/1270520091220195420.jpg)one.

Hi Sharp,

We get them around the Channel Islands in the summer months (not in huge numbers but the odd one) and I believe they follow their principle source of food (jellyfish). The water around here is pretty cold and I think they can also be found around the UK, so I guess that it is not usual for them to be in cold water.

Thank you Andrew and Ken. I thought that Mola mola is living only in tropical warm waters. Now that make sense.

Arenīt those mormaly living deep?
