Hey Gang,
My wife wants to go on a family vacation to Iceland this summer--just to try something new. Of course, I'm thinking "What Blue World segment can I shoot there?" So we did some research and found this:

They are touting it as perhaps the best visibility in the world. If nothing else, that's pretty cool.

Anyone been there?

One very close friend of mine was there...and the diving was not big but little disappoinment...viz was not 100m+ all the time and UW-world is rather empty...nice formations anyhow.

He said that it was nice to visit there and have experience but no burning need to go back ( all the finnish divers are nuts of wrecks and when not seeing them it could be reason for the comment ).

Top side it might be bigger experience as you have family holiday...

I have wanted to go diving to Icland for a long time. There is one link when a group of swedish divers (http://www.dykarna.nu/fotoalbum/21808.html)was there.

I have planned to go there after two year. The water looks like liquid air. It has to be something like in cenotes of Mexico.
