On day two I was once again up before the sun. Normally I don't like getting up before noon, but for diving I will do just about anything. Again I walked to the boat launch area, signed in with the crew and gave them my gear. Again out first dive was a Molokini. Except this time we did a drift dive around the outer edge of the crater. The current along the outer edge that day was something you just have to experience even the Dive master was surprised how far we traveled. I didn't get any pics from this dive as we were all moving to fast to actually get anything but blurry, streaks of color. The whole dive lasted about 42 mins and for me wasn't a particularly fun dive.
But a dive is a dive and I got to say I am happy for the experience.
Now back on the boat we all stopped for our surface interval, and chatted about what we say and felt when we came across this mammoth shark at about 90-100 feet. As we went on to the next site a whale was breaking the surface and so we stopped to watch and do the tourist thing; Take Pictures.

The next site was a place they called "5 Cavers."
And as the name stated they're are little caves along the shore that you can go into, they where not very deep about 30 feet at the most. One of them even had a large air pocket in it that you could swim into and take your regulator out. That was something kinda trippy to do on a dive.

One of the caves even had some small white tipped ref sharks napping at the mouth of it. They seemed pretty use to divers being around.
But further out into the water was where it really all came together. Out in amongst the worn down rock covered in carol where the sea turtles.
I believe they are Giant green leather back sea turtles; and they all provided great photo opportunities.

These are just some of the better shots that I got.
After about 55 mins I was beginning to get low on air and become a salt prum. So back to the boat we returned.
I will admit that I wasn't really impressed with the diving I had in Hawaii, but I think the next time I go I will find a private guide to show me the really interesting things that only the locals know.
So until next time;
Dive safe ya'll
