Oh cool! The magazine story is finally out!

Yes, I was right behind David when he made this image:

As many of you know, I was out with David and his wife/assistant Jen for several shoots of this Artificial Reefs story, and I shot/directed/field produced a half hour program about it for the National Geographic Channel. It was produced as one of 13 episodes in a series called "Extreme Exposures" and aired around the world on the National Geographic Channel in 2010. They renamed the series "National Geographic's Best Photos" and broadcast it on Nat Geo Wild in the USA back in November, but of course, nobody told me....so I didn't know. Otherwise I would have told you to watch it!

I have a copy on DVD but due to copyright, I cannot post it on-line anywhere. When it airs again, as I'm sure it will, I will post here. It came out pretty well I thought. (I had nothing to do with the writing or post production...I was the field producer/cameraman only).

Working with David and Jen was incredibly fun. Not only are they delightful and fun people, they are tremendously talented and I really got a kick out of watching the master at work. :-)

I had a thread here during the shoot:

Worth a read. I forgot a lot of stuff that I posted there. Glad I posted it! Now after reading it I want to go back out and shoot some more stuff with David!
