Ikelite "e" clamps

Spent this morning checking stuff for an upcoming trip. I have a D80 housing that has had problems in the past with the little 'e' clamps that hold the push-buttons in place. When I checked it this morning, 2 more of the little suckers were broken. I have some spares, but I couldn't get them on. Luckily, my wife is more suited in fine motor skills and temperament and got the job done.

I haven't had a problem with my D300 housing. Maybe I should send the old D80 housing in for an upgrade.

I have had same problem 3 times...upgrading is good idea as there is possibility of flooding...I had flooding because of e-clip in Galapagos, but luckily the last diving day.

They had a bad batch of the clips a while back but I don't think it has been an issue for a while.
