10 AM - My fascination with Mr. Big (About large animal encounters).
1 PM - Whale Sharks of Holbox

        SUNDAY:
Noon - Jonathan Bird's Blue World (A talk for "Ocean pals" about the production of Blue World).

Well I saw Doug and Marge and we caught up a little. The Wetuits played some rock and roll at the Fish and Famous Party. My lovely wife Christine was inducted into the Women Divers Hall of Fame along with Michele Westmorland and Celine Cousteau. We hung out with all kinds of cool friends that we don't see too often. We had a blast. It was the best BTS ever, and I have enjoyed all of them!!

Here are some shots of Christine with fellow WDHOF inductee Celine Cousteau, and The Wetsuits performing (and our backup singers the Wet-ettes!)

That has been a show...all the big names there and of course our Egyptian slave...with his active wife Brenda.

It is also nice to see Doug ( active member here ) in the picture...I think our last live meeting was in Yap?

                    How about show itself...new gears?

And of coarse congratulation to new member of Women Divers Hall of Fame...Christine!!!

I didn't even have time to walk the show floor. (It's so huge, you need at least 4-6 hours). I had a few meetings with specific people on the show floor, but new gear doesn't do much for me. There are a ton of people marketing LED video lights now, most of which are either not powerful enough, or just crap. Daniel really is making a top end light now.

I do not go for the show per se, but I love to hang out with all my pals from the dive industry, some of which I only get to see at the dive shows.

Soon time to Daniel to stay behind the stand...one week each time and 20 times per year

I'd like to know that too. The first place in the Marine life category does say 'disqualified'. Photomanipulation or something else?
