Mark, that's a GREAT idea!!!!!!
The only problem with the boat for this type of deal is, as you know, there are few extra bunks for kids. Scott does have a nice extra bunk now right behind the bridge for his daughter. (He generally doesn't let guests use it, but David D. slept there on our last trip because he was an extra over the 12 guests). There is one stateroom (front port side) that has a large lower bunk and a standard (single) upper bunk, so you can put a kid in the upper bunk and a couple in the lower one. That was how we were planning on taking Elise. The rest of the staterooms have single bunks only.
What I'm saying here is that we could get a couple kids on the boat OK but we couldn't do a "family" trip and take a ton of kids because there aren't enough bunks for two parents and a kid unless we want to be paying for an extra spot. If we take just a couple kids, they would go at an extremely low price or free because they are not taking up any extra bunks.
Lets plan on it!
